Difficult one to call as Keith Curle will do everything he can to stop our winning run - no telling which formation he will go with as they often change it. Losing is no disaster but they’re without a win in six games, and got knocked out of the Checkatrade Trophy midweek. If the Blue Army turn out in force, then it should another good day out.

The absence of Nadesan and Yates is going to really hurt. Let's see how Tommy copes, maybe we'll have another player in by Saturday. A Curle team though will be slow and ponderous so I'll go 1 0 to us.
I was amazed reading the Northampton Board the Hotel End how much it was like reading our board a couple of years ago. Overpaid, underperforming team. Position much lower than the budget would indicate. Poor performances from promising players. Top scorer sold with fans all claiming to know the fee- between 0 and 400k. Unfathomable tactics with no clear pattern, no funds to bring in players. Derek Asamoah possibly coming back. And Munchie all over the place! So much better now

There is around four of us that post on there including Bluebry, pretty friendly bunch regarding outsiders posting.

Van Veen split the fan base on how good he was and only had six months left on his contract.

Bury are play MK so if we win we will go up at least a place.

Quite suprised at the bookies having Northampton clear favourites to win given our recent form and their recent winless run.

Exciting game but we'll bring them to heel in a repeat of last week's scoreline.

When I first read the thread title I thought this would be a thread full of shit predictions.

Having read it I now know I was right.

3-0 to Carlisle.
We are far too good for most teams in this division and certainly for Northampton

I expect the defence will remain the same for Carlisle.

Northampton have lost some of their better players recently too.....Van Veen (Scunthorpe) and Crooks (Rotherham) to name a few. also other clubs are eyeing up a move for the central defender, Pierre....appears to be in and out of the team during their recent fixtures.

Northampton have offloaded Waters, Van Veen, and Crooks, their 3 best players this week. Saw Waters play few times for Cheltenham a couple of seasons ago, excellent player, shame we weren't in for him

Some weren't playing anyhow Marko, I am worried about tomorrow now as our squad is piss weak at the minute - call it Skol whilst they have League One players chomping at the bit waiting for their chance.

Not good - there should have been activity this week in the transfer market but because nobody of relevance came in tells me that they didn't really have anyone in mind and even if they did they were not serious about them even though we now have extra funds.

If we get tanked tomorrow it will be down to Holdsworth as it is now clear that the rest of them do not have a say in it.

We've lost Yates and Nadesan. But Yates has a reasonable chance of coming back. We've signed another striker, he might be good. Tommy is in for another player. Morale is high amongst those that are still here, Sowerby and Devitt for example. Let's wait and see. I don't think we are as bad as Northampton. The 3 players they sold have scored half of their goals this season. And Sheridan seems to have a better eye for a player than Curle.
