Crikey, that lot seems totally crackers to me?Always been like that...
Two teams have to keep all their players together and motivated till June 20th, the one that goes up is miles behind the other teams in League 2 when it comes to bringing in new players.
Then in a week or not much more, the winning team will be starting next season's preseason, or if they are allowed a holiday, will be starting a couple of weeks behind the rest.
Not sure the logic of spinning it out over 3 weeks. Presumably a bit of extra exposure for the National League.
Anyone but Notts County or Chesterfield to go up for me.
National League Season didn’t start until early October, a Month behind the Football League. They also had several little periods of stop/start due to various C-19 outbreaks. They were always going to be playing catch-up...
So it’s Torquay v Notts Co and Stockport v Hartlepool next weekend…
You would have to fancy Stockport to win it and gain promotion again next year from league 2 as have ambitious owners ??

Stockport have potential to do a double promotion, decent sized Club with a good following, owners seem to have a few quid…
