Been a while since I bored the life out of the forum but just after new year we did Place and Sleet fells over the back of Ullswater this from top of sleet Fell.

A pic of the Helvellyn Range from Place Fell too.

Yet to do that one marra but i expected that type of view at the top.. a good yan.
Im gonna try some wild camping this year hopefully and bag a few more wainwrights in the process..could be interesting weather in random places..

Laffy I don't know how to put this but a mystery Fell walker has been just been in touch can you hang on for five to ten days for a decision on our potential Fell walk as I have to listen to their offer.

So glad I clicked on this thread today after reading the other depressing shit about the football!

Love the Lakes. Only return once a year these days. My wife always allows me a day to myself, to climb something the kids can't. I get them up some smaller ones though and often take a morning/evening run up a small fell.

I'll have to put some pics up after my next trip (April). Hopefully do the Coniston Fells, take the kids up Hallin Fell and run Binsey... weather permitting!

Good luck with that. There's only been one eagle since his mate died in 2004 and he hasn't been seen for over a year.
