Maybe we will get lucky and find a free agent striker got to be one out there somewhere.
I might win the lottery to :D

By the time a free agent is match fit, Edmondson, Sho-Silva, Patrick and Dennis will all likely be back.

Agree with most of that.
Kelly I would give 9, never put a foot wrong, even with the goal he got down to it. Bullet header at the back post.
Carr looked a bit out of his depth, but he stuck to his task and battled.
Ellis defended well, but he can't beat a man.
Charters is so slow.
Thought Hilton played OK, not brilliant but OK. Added a bit of energy, his second half shot was very well saved by the keeper. The problem was that he had nothing in front of him. Stretton was the 3 out of 10 for me. Idahen played a lovely defence splitting pass for him, and he just didn't move. I think he'll be gone at Christmas, not as good as Brad Young. Never going to score until the next penalty shoot out.

Great entertaining game. Fleetwood well on top until Guy, Mellish & Gibson came on. Credit to their keeper, he had a great game as well

Kelly 8 - Impressive. Three worldie saves in normal time, a penalty save and accurate distribution
Charters 5 - Looked like he was - a midfielder shoe-horned in at left back. Kept going but not a stand-in for Armer on this showing
Idahen 6 - Did ok, but needs to work on his heading
Whelan 7 - Assured. One of the few on show that could slot straight into the 1st team
Ellis 6 - Worked tirelessly against players well above the standard he'll have been used to. Decision making could be better
Carr 6 - A testing debut but did well against a pacy opponent. One for the future undoubtedly
Moxon 6 - Mixed. Ran the midfield for spells in the game but his needless hollywood passes lost us possession & momentum on countless occasions. Needs to
learn to keep it simple
Harris 6 - gains a mark for his improvement in the second half, when he showed some intelligent touches and runs. Needs a run of games but not good enough
yet for the first team - a loan move might be the answer
Hilton 3 - Just poor unfortunately. On this showing, its hard to see him making any impact whatsoever on the 1st team squad. Simply too small and lightweight for
L2
Patrick 6 - A continued albeit brief improvement, before he pulled up injured. Will Simmo's failure to bring in another striker come back to bite him?
Stretton 6 - Worked his socks off against a beast of a defender - with little joy unfortunately, but showed glimpses there's a player in there

SUBS
Gibson 6 - Lively as ever and provided the outlet we had been missing before his introduction
Guy 6 - Solid
Mellish 8 - His introduction in an advanced midfield position completely changed the game. We are one more injury away from a striker crisis that will see invitably
see Jon pushed up front. On this showing, this would be no bad thing
