Workington game is on...
Delare the season null and void with no promotion or relegation.
No titles for Liverpool and Celtic and no promotion for Leeds and Barrow, whats not to like.
A lot of players will be contracted until end of June, so it could get very interesting if the season was extended beyond then.
You canna just make it up as you go along!

I think Workingtons league will be knocking it on the head after this weekend as well.

Gad planned to go to Easter Saturdays game as well v City of Liverpool......probably 50 odd years since I've been to Borough Park

Why not?
This is an unprecedented situation which no-one could have foreseen and requires decisions to be made which will probably not be covered in any rule book. NB If they are, all well and good.
I am sure there will be legal challenges whatever is decided - however most legal challenges anywhere shouldn't get any further than 'go forth and multiply' and are usually mounted by rich people (or people with rich backers) who can afford to lose. The only certain outcome being rich lawyers getting even richer.
I think decisions will be made on a day to day basis, a bit like they are on the virus.
The implications are far reaching, the supply chain to the Football League must be huge, some will go to the wall (unless extremely well insured).
It's a bag of shi.....
But, nowt compared to the poor devils that are going to loose there lives.
Italy's economy is already a basket case, this will lead to them being owned by the Germans, and a long period of austerity post the virus, this is going to test everybody.
Legal challenges would be on a hiding to nothing with very little chance of sympathy or success in the circumstances.

Extend contracts to say August 31st....if no more footy takes place they've had the close season now in effect ....however paying wages is still a problem and the FA will have to stump up.
