1 has developed symptoms today.

So 4 missing tonight due to COVID.

This was always going to happen with the increased testing. I’d expect to see a lot more clubs impacted over the coming weeks

It is a bit strange. Some teams play on with cases others don't. Must be all to do with contact and whether they've got enough players to fulfil the fixture.

I would have one or two more showing symptoms ensuring postponement.

I think that's exactly what it is, when enough are affected in the squad that you can't put 11 out there!

Watching the celebrations of players in recent matches it's crazy to celebration with all the hugging at this time, it is possible to celebrate without all the hugging, it's no wonder that its spreading among players they should know better.
If they want to be allowed to carry on playing they need to stick to the same rules as the rest of us, if they don't it's only a matter of time before the season gets shut down.

Think all football should be stopped until Saturday 30th January allowing everyone to catch breath.

Gonna have some run of fixtures through Feb and into March now!

I'd rather play these fixtures with a full team, so in that respect it's good. Plus gives likes of Tanner and Kayode more time to recover from their injuries.

Season needs to be halted for now and extended to fit fxtures in, it will be nigh on impossible to fit them in as other teams get the virus and matches get cancelled.

Hope the club don't get fined for something that is out of their control. The EFL are not exactly noted for their fairness.

With us not being able to train properly (no facility) the fixtures congestion this causes might actually help a little!

It will literally be 2 games a week with 2 light sessions and 2 days shape a week!

Saturday game, Sunday light session, Monday shape, Tuesday game, Wednesday off, Thursday light session and Friday shape back to Saturday again!!!!

If we return to action against Newport on Tues 26th, and the P-P games (4 in total - Harrogate (A), Mansfield (A), Orient (H) and Forest Green (H) ) get rearranged on the first available free Tuesdays, its something like 16 games in 55 days (Quick guess, may be slightly wrong!) playing every Tues/Sat for several weeks solid!

I really don't think there is any benefit at all in trying to attach blame.

Anyone can catch covid, just being in the wrong place, brushing against the wrong surface. You can be as careful as you can be but unless you sit in the house permanently in a spacesuit you may be unlucky.

Those that have to work take a risk, however small, every time they go out the house, that's just how it is.

Rather than look to attach blame in any way I would just like to wish all those who have tested positive all the best and hope that they get through without any symptoms and we get back to seeing them on the pitch soon.
