What a joke that is, So Grimsby now can't sign a keeper? 40 year old Andy Warrington is signed on as a player so i doubt the league will give them special dispensation to sign one.

There is no emergency loan window any more. That was scrapped at the start of this season. However there is a transition period, which allows clubs to sign an emergency goalkeeper on loan providing they haven't got a senior goalkeeper that's made more than 5 first team apps.

Clubs are allowed to recall goalkeepers from loan if they're unable to field 2 fit goalkeepers in their match day squad - this doesn't seem to fit with the Man Utd situation however, maybe it's slightly different for the Premier League?

Fine to be arrogant if you can back it up in my books, which he's proven he can. He would have signed for us if he was top fiddle, even though he knew he was above our level. He ended up getting a massive move and looks like his confidence was justified.
