What do we think, will he be the subject of a bid in January?
If so whats he worth, what would he go for?
I'll start
1. Yes
2. Worth - 1m
3. Sell 250k with sell on clauses
Southampton and Newcastle mentioned too on the BBC Football Gossip Page today:
To be fair to KC the youth team were not good enough to break through in KC's reign, plus we had a stronger squad.
Its funny, all these people that apparently "hated" him (plenty rumours on here from people "in the know"when he worked here, I have never seen the staff around the ground so happy to see him and his staff and make an effort to see him when they were up here the other week.
Either KC was a nightmare, or the load of people I seen go to see him are s*** houses.
They would take him back I guarantee that! But, there is no agenda against SP , so we don't hear this side.
Why don’t you name them Lummy otherwise you insinuating this every time makes you as bad as them.
For the record I was sad to see KC go, but looking back we couldn’t sustain the kind of spending he was doing, will always be grateful for him keeping us up but fell short at the end imo.
Not sure if it been mentioned on this thread and I can’t be bothered to look back, but Jarads agent is David Reeves our legendary ex centre forward.
Premier League clubs probably close to their home and still living with their parents.
How many 17 year old move independently to the south from Carlisle? You could probably count them on one hand. Even the minority who actually leave Carlisle to go to University mostly go to Glasgow, Newcastle, Lancaster and Manchester.
Liverpool Echo said £750k + add-ons on Monday night.
I see Birmingham City have retired the number 22 shirt after they sold a young player to a bigger club. Think we should have a word and get Jarrad’s old number retired?
I will hold my hand up I didn't think a great deal of Curle as a manager. in regards to getting a team up I don't think he's good enough. He is very capable for getting limited teams fighting a relegation battle as he has proved however the rotation policy was a bit of a joke the likes of Wyke and Devitt in and out of team I think he squandered money and some of his signings seemed panic signings
Nice bloke just not got the nouse for promotion chasing teams imo although be very pleased for him if he gets a promotion on his Cv ..
On a few occasions he pulled someone off at half time.
Don't do Twitter but thanks for the info
Sorry to go off topic but how many people use twitter here?
Hypothetical question...
If we played Everton in the lendlease at Brunton Park next seas on and he was in the team would you go down to watch him play?
If I was in Carlisle I probably would.
Personally think he will be on loan to a League 1/ Championship side next season.
Totally expected and another example of the state of football today. He only played 11 games. McCarron similar? They looked good but had barely started before they were whipped away from us to someone's reserves for a year.
I've no doubt at least JB will go on to do well but as usual we are kept in the dark and made to feel like we don't matter. Again.
Beech knew nothing. Yeah, whatever. Undisclosed? Yeah, whatever. Club building for the future? Yeah, whatever. EWM give a shit? Whatever. New ground. Whatever. Signs of improvement.... green shoots.... progress... investment... forward thinking... No Communication again!!!! etc etc etc...f'off!
Go well jarrad. What a missed opportunity for cufc. Again.
No league 2 club would turn down that kind if money. Not sure what you mean by a missed opportunity.

That felt really tinpot to me. We haven't retired so many legend's numbers, why would we for him? It's great that he's doing so well but retiring numbers of players who leave us to achieve something doesn't exactly feel like a club who are looking up in the world.
The level of team supposedly keeping tabs on him, we’re talking top end PL, they can start at £5m then we’ll talk.
I’m serious too...
For a 17 year old playing in a poor team he has done amazingly well. The potential is obvious. He is under contract beyond the end of the season (I think) so that should add to his value. Let the bidding war commence.

Similar deal to us getting first refusal on those Leeds juniors
Who wouldn't want to go to Celtic?
£750k plus add ons is the RC rumour
Didn't they have to put £100k in each recently? I bet that made them splutter. Nixon will be desperate for his money back.
I don't think he was injured either. Club protecting the incoming cash, so I kind of understand it.
Shame that we've offloaded some real talent this season - you only have to look at Crewe to see the benefit of investing in youth, rather than bringing in has beens who ain't playing for the shirt any more, but their last decent wage packet.
You aren’t seriously saying he’s better than Beardsley,Janson or Delap
I remember seeing PB-magical
The reason why he was given an international cap is irrelevant, the fact was he was a full international which will have played a part in any tribunal’s decision.
For what it’s worth I get the feeling you’ve made your last statement up anyway. First time he was called up was for a qualifier which would have tied him to Wales, but he didn’t play. He then missed out on the next 4 qualifiers before making his debut in a friendly a month later, in fact it was over a year from his first call-up before he played a competitive fixture for Wales. Hardly the actions of a country picking someone just to tie him down!
Think your point actually proves me more , what the point of having a player in your squad who's not good enough yet for the first team , They were giving him a carrot on the end of the stick.
Advantage of living were I do , Generally my local has some people who know football far better than me and any one on here but Lummy.
