I would've thought a keeper able to boom it 75-80 yards was a prerequisite for the Cowleys.
A few weeks ago, Lummy and JP were debating who were the most important players in the team - and the most obvious answers were of course Callum Guy, JJ Kayode etc
For me though our unsung hero is Farman. His distribution is the platform for the entire way we play. The pressing game in the final third mostly comes from his clearances / goal kicks - versus last season when Collin could barely reach the half way line.
The contrast of the Exeter keeper yesterday couldn’t have been more stark - his distribution was woeful. Farman gets us up the pitch - and with the quality we now have in attack in midfield, we keep the ball there and dominate teams.
His actual goalkeeping is improving steadily too - I like the way he came for crosses yesterday, catching when he was confident enough, but choosing to punch when he wasn’t.
He is absolutely pivotal to our style of play - and as such would be up there for one of my players of the season so far
However, he's a decent shot stopper and his kicking and distribution is probably the best I can remember from a Carlisle goalkeeper.
After a shaky start, to recover with three clean sheets and a penalty save is creditable.
I must congratulate Mr Farman on a good season the guy has been solid for Carlisle all season the negativity towards him off certain individual people IE Pigsh@te is unreal give your mouth a rest mate ?
