Can't you scale the server resources up or down according to demand? I thought you said that was one of the benefits of your new provider although I might have imagined that.
Can we have a whip round to get a better service? This seems to be average at best and any increased activity, it goes off-line. What is the annual fee for something better?
At the moment I think they are paying roughly £15 a month for an Amazon lightsail server that has 4GB memory and 2 core processor. For £18 a month they could get double that, 8GB memory and 4 cores, with the Comfort package at OVH

It all depends what's causing the problems. Chris/mods, is it the forum software or the server not having enough resources? And if it's server resources is it memory or CPU usage?
Even our messageboard doesn't want promotion and prefers us to be mediocre. Boooo!
