With Simmo interesting comments last night about Ryan Carr and Nick Bollado and their inclusion in the Fleetwood game it got me thinking about the mindset of young academy football players and their mindset.
I personally like the transparency offered from Simmo even when referencing to Fishburn and his new loan to Morpeth from Blyth. Some may say Simmo went too far in public. I think young academy players are too muddle-cuddled and not exposed to different and
challenging environments. I think this interesting article says a lot especially about defining talent and potential in young players

With key players soon to return from injury is it now time for some of our academy players to accelerate their development and be loaned out and get real men's football.
So far Fishburn, Bell and Kilsby are loaned out.
Maybe its time to get the likes of Ellis, Senior, Bollado, Carr, Nugent, Breeze, Simons out on loan at (after he returns from injury) different clubs to get further experience, game time and men's football to push on their development.
Charters did ok tonight and benefited from his loan experience at Gateshead last year. Shame he was injured at the start of the season.
What are peoples thoughts here.
