TOPIC: Plymouth v Carlisle video

Found this video posted on plymouths YouTube.

Quite a good watch. I want to know what was on McQueen's phone that had Asamoah so interested.

Nice one, good clip that.

Got to say that is one of the best "Matchday Moments" type clips I've seen. Really told the story of the match, not just using te match itself but the fans reactions and little quirky moments as well. From the angles used I saw the lad who filmed it, and it wasn't top of the range gear, just clever positioning a good eye for editing it together.

Highlights what dross we get served up with. A walk down the tunnel and a pan around the pitch on snapchat every week. Great.

To do a vid like the Plymouth one though you need some one to have two videos one at either end, who films all afternoon then goes home and edits it. It all depends on the size of thew media department, certainly couldn't do it with any less than three people at the match.

Go to somewhere like Bury and there are four or five people working in media on a match day, so obviously they can produce a lot more stuff over all platforms. When you have to cover twitter, write a match report, interview manager and players and be available to answer queries from press and the other club I wouldn't think there would be a lot of time left. I can't see how it could be done without having some one designated to do just that video and nothing else.

In the Plymouth case, either they have hit lucky and found someone willing to volunteer their time and skill to the club, or they are willing to pay what I think would be a substantial fee for the work done.

And agree I don't think I would want it as the official video, but great as a story of the game for fans of both home and away as an extra.

did Hanford actually touch the ball? i didn't notice if he did, in any of the clips ive seen.

Go to you tube and type in "matchday moments plymouth fa cup " in the little drop down underneath hit this week and it should come up.
