You'd think he'd be pretty decent for Chievo take him

Released after 6 months and 0 appearances.

Ended last season sitting on the bench for a 4th Italian 4th division team.

I know, I read up about him earlier. I just thought for a club of Chievo's calibre to take him in the first place, there'd have to be something there.

You're not gonna get great players on trial are you, unless they are very obscurely based or desperately avoiding dropping into non league.

Who is the one on the left beside Ibehre?
And who is the one between Raynes and Joyce?

And I'm assuming David Atkinson has picked up an injury...

Unless I'm mistaken, the one in the bottom picture is James Baillie, formerly of Crewe. He's a right-back.

Would imagine if true that we won't be seeing McQueen again.

Young lad to left of Jabo is youth player Cameron Salkeld. Possibly bumped up to senior squad.

This would suggest we're preparing for life without McQueen.

Aye, it's definitely Baillie. He was unlucky at Crewe because he played the same position as their captain but apparently did well in the games he played in. He finished the season on loan at Nantwich so it'll be interesting to see how well he does. Possibly a cheap option we can develop as back-up to Miller if McQueen leaves. I guess we'll find out if/when he plays in the friendlies.

Looking at the Crewe forum, a couple felt he should have been given another short term deal due to impressing during his time in the first team and never a second chance. He looks a lot older than 20 mind.

Another good signing, Very strong competition for places.

Honestly i cant see cook signing mind, Very good squad on paper. just about finding the right players for the right formation now, gonna be some good players that don't even make the squad come a Saturday.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple long term loans coming in next.

Could anyone honestly have seen a better transfer window coming?! Absolutely superb! Keith Curle and Lee Dykes and all the backroom staff have transformed the playing side of this club far more than I ever thought they could! So good to see Carlisle being sold to good players as opposed to using how remote we are as a negative! A lot if two year deals so obviously settling his squad for the foreseeable future!

Credit to Keith Curle, Lee Dykes and the backroom staff, they`ve recruited some good players, if they can gel fairly quickly and have the "hard to beat" attitude that was evident for a good part of last season, the coming season could be viewed very optimistically.
You`re just jealous cos you can`t hear the voices

Keyboard warriors on internet forums are the only fans that are allowed to express an opinion. And only those warriors who attend games have a valid opinion.

It's unclear whether omygawd, OneTonneBaby and Smiley Culture attend games at this point.

I think we are fine for strikers, Miller, Jabo and Wyke. If we sign a 4th one that means 2, possibly 3 sitting on the bench every week. Left back for me, Grainger is too slow to take us to the promotion places, maybe another centre back but certainly a goalkeeper, Gillespie is poor as well.

Bit harsh to say Gillespie's poor I think, although we do need backup regardless. Grainger is captain so will have a starting spot guaranteed I would think, and we've got Brough for cover.

What if one gets injured and we want to play 2 up top. 4 Strikers is minimum for any side at any level.

We had 5 strikers last season and all were used at some point. Players lose form get injured or suspended 4 minimum for me and KC has stated he wants another striker in. I still.believe that it's best to play with 2 strikers preferably a big strong forward with a quicker more mobile player alongside him.
