Admire your commitment and enthusiasm Keith, but not sure that we can aspire to be the next Bournemouth. The difference being that they have been bank rolled by a Russian billionaire, whereas the nearest thing we have got to a billionaire is in AJ & JN's head!

That's the way i like it,are Bournemouth the Queen of clubs.

OK it's a dream,however we relegated them to league 2 nine years ago, the year we should have been promoted to the championship,the following year they nearly went out of the football league,Now they are in the second season in the top league and a million miles away from us.
In reality they where behind us in every way less than 10 years ago ,why can't we dream of the same.

We don't need to look at anybody. I've followed the blues 35 years and always dreamed of seeing us at the highest level or winning a major cup. Il never stop, it's English football, clubs have done it and so can we, Keith can lead this club to glory, and if not Keith then someone else, you never know in this game

Dare to dream anything is possible. I've been lucky enough to see us play in the top league and for many years be a very good second tier club.

That's what cheeses a lot of people off today with the present regime. We were once a very good second tier club. What are we doing nearly going out of the league two seasons ago?

Once we get the billionaire involved im sure we'll be able to pay £20k+ a week wages in the championship. Give it up its never gonna happen unless something drastic changes.

It is 30 years since we were a good second tier club. Since then we've been mainly in this division, very often trying to avoid falling through conference trapdoor. Our current prospects are infinitely more positive than the dark days of Harry Gregg, Michael Knighton and Graham Kavanagh picking the team. Got to enjoy!

Wonder what would have happened if they hadnt made it though. I doubt theyll have pocketed the profits either, Jack Wiltshire et al will have seen to that. Great for their loyal fans though f they can still get in.

Feel free to dream people. I have watched us from the depths of the Third Division North, the Fourth Division, Conference, Division Two and go toe to toe with some of the greats in the old First Division, stuff Italian teams in their own back yard, walk out in a final at Wembley and miss an old FA Cup semi final by a coat of paint on the crossbar and keeper called Peter Mellor of course! Derby games with Workington with 18,000 in Borough Park on a Boxing Day - fantastic times which I have been very, very lucky to be a part of. This of course was all before money became the driving force, the game is a lot different today and sadly not for the better, I feel sorry for those younger than me who have not had the roller coaster ride that I have. So dream on people it may be all you have but there's nothing wrong with wanting the best for your club - or in Nixon's case what's best for yourself.

I'd be interested to see where they are in 10 - 15 years time when the billionaire gets bored and the debts are impossibly high.... probably back below us.

We had a place in the sun in 1974/75 ,we invested nothing and got what was expected,a one time in a lifetime experience.In those days more teams could dream of the top flight there wasn't the money factor there is today.
Yes Bournmouth could well fall flat as have Blackpool, but isn't it better to whiteness that than spend your whole life in the lower leagues. Let's get real Burton are in the top half of the championship,on attendances a lot less than us and a ground that holds 6,000 ish.

Year to 31 July 2016, Bournemouth made a profit of £3.4m
