Doubt they will ever have people walking around serving beers on feet in the concourse at English League Stadiums, would mean people enjoyed themselves in a decent manner and that's not really wanted in England - by some fans as well I think! Can't move for folk flogging beer in some German Stadiums with a backpack on, rather keep folk waiting for 10 minutes before they wolf it down and leg it back to the seat here.
Had that when we went to watch a MLS game. Guys with Cool boxes around the concourse selling beers, able to drink beers not the stands there too.
Completely different atmosphere to over here though.
No interest at all in experiencing football/soccer over there like but I imagine the fans are treated with 1000 times more trust and respect than in most stadiums in England.
I'd love to go to a game over there... some of the games have a great atmosphere watching it on TV. I'd probably go to a Seattle or Portland game as the fans really get into it there.
We went to see Orlando v NYCFC. Was a quite good match to be fair, the standard surprised me as we only ever get told it's poor over here but it seems to have progressed quite a lot.
It was 'rivals week' when we went so the teams were all playing their derbies, we watched Portland v Seattle before our game and the fans didn't lack passion. For some reason Orlando are classed as NYCFC rivals because they both joined the league at the same time.
Atmosphere is completely different to over here, a lot of the games have hardly any away fans due to the distances, much like any American sport though.
Also a lot less swearing, worst abuse the ref got was the crowd chanting "ref you suck".
Just something different to experience isn't it.
