Having followed Carlisle for over 60 years now, and having seen us play away to over 80 different clubs, I have to say that yesterday was one of the most enjoyable away days I've experienced in that time. That includes Wembley and many other memorable occasions. The spirit show by the team was tremendous and at 2-2 in the penalty shoot out I actually thought we were going to do it. Keith Curle also deserves great credit for the performance.

The atmosphere and enjoyment was also helped by the stewards ( always very helpful and, at times, a bit too tolerant of some fans who were worse for wear ) and other staff within and outside the concourse.
