Just been reading a match thread on one of their forums. Lads going mental about us playing Ole Ole Ole football in extra time. One said we passed it out from the back like Spain from 5 years ago. Just hope we can settle down and pass it like that for the rest of the season. Hopefully CCU will have to buy Keith that Nandos at some point in the future. Interestingly there were lads sitting near me on our bus who still want Curle sacked!!!.

Well I'm not totally convinced yet but he is starting to answer a lot of my concerns.
I really didn't think he could 'get' our players to welcome the so called 'rota' system, and to use it with such good affect, especially with our lot being 4th tier players. The defence is still a concern, but the way it was used last night really impressed me, and even though Liverpool had the majority of play they weren't really threatening from inside the box, every man seemed to know his job, and if its done correctly and there IS a plan 'B' then I'm sure there will be plenty of rewards from it.
Interestingly I felt a hell of a lot more relaxed (despite Liverpool's possession) than I did against Barnet a couple of weeks back.
Anyway I'm enjoying the ride at the moment, and you wont catch me uttering the immortal lines "Curle Out", well not until after Newport on Saturday anyhow! ;)

Bit unfair to ole Carlisle, the Hodgson side that lined out against Bolton was pretty dire when Joe Cole scored late on and we acted like we won the Champions League. That was horrid, at least Carlisle strung a few passes together.
