Was it just me who thought the Liverpool fans were very quiet i heard them i think twice once at the start then after 20mins when they all started clapping for some reason.I was dissapointed having read Keith Curles comment about the hairs on the back of your neck standing up when they sang You'll never walk alone must have been a diffrent ground than Anfield.It could be the pressure of them being crap getting to the fans same as a relegation battle does to us and this maybee transmits to the players.Or could it be all the tourists at these games for them to be so quiet.

I've been to anfield a number of times and that was easily the quietest I've heard the home fans, any songs that started were half assed to say the least.

Lots of the home fans sat near me were very frustrated with their team and we're getting quite ratty.

Bloke behind me commented that you wouldn't have guessed who was the PL side.

Carlisle fans on the other hand, sounded awesome.

Mark lawrnson was interviewed and he said it was the quietest he'd heard anfield 'apart from those Carlisle fans'

Went on to say something like the Liverpool fans were just that frustrated with things at the moment and you could tell by the atmosphere.
