I thought so at the time, thought it came off Raynes' napper which would have been a shame as he was about the only one to come out of today with any credit...

Thought Joyce did ok as well but cant think of anyone else. Maybe that big lad we put up front for last 5 mins. He put himself about a bit ;)

Raynes a my man of the match . Turning out to be a decent signing that lad. Very committed too. I think he and the club make a nice fit.

Agree with that, had my doubts when he signed and pre season but he is really growing into the role. Obvious leadership qualities with the way he plays and always is talking/shouting/telling other players where to be.

Anybody see him and Curle have a to do yesterday though? About midway through the 2nd half after Raynes was up for a free kick and heading it on Curle was shouting something at him and all saw was Raynes giving it back two fold! Suppose he is one of the few who could get away with talking to headmaster keith like this

Since he cowped ower the other week he has been a different player. Don't know if KC told him to get forward near the end on Saturday or if he did it off his own bat - if so, good on him, he recognised that we were having to lump it forward at that stage and had no one up there who could win a header. Would happily see him keep the captaincy but that's never going to happen is it?

From where I was sitting it looked 100% an own goal.... not much Raynes could have done with it though as it was a cracking cross which he had to stick his head on.
