Does this mean then that the pitch will be getting less repair work over the summer than normal? It only leaves roughly 6 weeks until the start of the season excluding pre season. I hope they wouldnt risk one of the greatest assests to the team for some money, oh hang on that sounds familiar!

May mean no home friendlies to give pitch time to recover but I wouldn't think the home friendlies this season would have made any money for the club so understandable.

Rather surprised as I was led to believe the only party to make money on gigs was the artist because they have all the corporate angles tied up. Hope this one makes money for the club and proves a success.
