Spoke to him before newport after being left out again. Getting silly how curle womt give him a chance but he done it with paynter dicker robson symington etc last year-i still think courtney is a good player in a position we are weakest at and i would like to know why hes not playing - he said "i wanna play i cant help it" when i asked why he wasnt playing for ages and i asked whats going on and he laughingly said "i dunno honestly" hes not injured at least let him play. Unless hes not doing well in training and fair enough but he wasnt looking bad when he did play

I think the time he spent out of the game where he sat around all day doing nothing has had a big effect on him. He started the season at least 10kg overweight and I heard that KC had put him on a tough gym and nutrition regime but that he was struggling to stick to it. I just think he has lost his motivation. Some players would be fighting for a place in the team and doing everything possible but sadly CMW doesn't seem to have it in him.

You'd have thought being locked up would have brought it home just how quick your career can be taken away & you'd then do everything to make sure your keep your privileged position...?

I think that's the bother with a lot of people his age, they have no idea what they've got or what commitment is needed to keep it...
