apparently it was 34 games ago since the same 11 started a game under Curle. 24th January!

I wonder if we lose today, how quickly people will criticise the manager for not making changes?

na, not me. if we lose today it may define our season for no consistency, again. especially if we dont bring in anybody to cover Ibehre. as we have seen......Jabo wont be fit to play all season.

Sounds like we're just about on top, but I hate to say it sounds very much like the Newport game to listen to. Just get the feeling Stevenage will take a chance if they get one.

I really think we need to be getting a few of these players tied down to extended deals.

Miller, McQueen, Ibehre and Gillespie for a start. All out of contract at the end of the season.

Awful scrappy game but we hung in there. Good substitutions by KC to bring on Gilliead and Hery because until then we weren't creative enough in midfield. This team selection worked against Orient because Orient pushed further forward giving us the opportunity to counter-attack. However with this smaller pitch the ball just ended up either going out or to the other goalkeeper all the time. But a brilliant piece of defending by Gilliead turning it into a run down the wing must give him confidence ahead of his England duties.

Stevenage are the worst side we've played away this season. Teddy obviously wants them to play decent football but the players just don't have the skill for it. Probably better if he leaves by mutual consent and someone else comes in. I like Stevenage as a club but without changes they're going to be relegation fodder.

Could Jenkins rank have been directed towards Jon Colman from the News and Star after the 20 questions article? He would have bee in the Press box.

I actually enjoyed the game today both teams tried to play football on a very bouncy pitch and the ref let the play flow. Thought we shaded first half and could have gone in ahead. Stevenage came at us at the start of the second half but we stayed strong helped by them taking off the lad on loan from Norwich and the big centre forward. Thought McQueen was poor reminded me of Amoo mind he wasn't helped by our midfield not putting balls through to him quickly enough.
The bit of play by Gilliead turning defence to attack was impressive and hopefully we will see him again.
All in all a deserved win in front of another good turnout from the Utd fans.

Since we are talking of former players....

Amoo scored today, as did Madden, Murray, Madine, Loy and others that I forgot, just kept spotting ex players names popping up.
