TOPIC: get behind the club you *****

A huge pat on the back to the club for a number of things.

1) KC is turning out to be an incredible find
2) well done to the club for employing him
3) Lee Dykes recruitment, a superb job when you really think about it
4) the decision to change the philosophy of the playing side. Last season was all about winning the battle first then try and play, now its play everyone off the park, invite them on to press us high and then exploit the space that it creates.
5) changes down at BP, kids zone, changes in the bars etc.

The what can only be called as the embarrassing things.
1) the rationale for not taking the Lapping deal (the invisible billionaire)
2) the pretend step down of some of the directors.....what has changed?
3) the lack of respect to the fans by simply thinking it's fine to lead a club that avoids transparency, watered down FIFA without corruption.
4) AJ rant in the paper
5) AJ rant on the radio last night.
6) the fact that the billionaire deal has not progressed but the club are still maintaining the public fantasy that is an embarrassment and serves to treat our fans like mushrooms.

The club seem to think that when people have genuine, well founded questions that need answering that those same people are somehow not behind the club. I'm sure JP and Lummy8 would agree with all the positives above but just because they have questions and want to represent the fans from the positions they hold, their commitment to the club is questioned by AJ. It's almost like we are only allowed to get behind the club on the clubs terms, ie be a silent contributor to the club, put up with the joke side of it as its somehow justified by the fact that the playing side are doing well so "shut up' you are getting your money's worth"

Let's stay behind Keith and the lads but let's not let that paper over the fact that the club and its leadership is nothing but a joke and that some of the positive things put in place were a rip off of what Lapping planned to put in place. That is no dig at King and Kidd, they are simply doing their jobs but we all know the intent is to pull their strings from behind to avoid the hassle of the joke side of the club.

Let's hope for a continued good season, hope Curle gets a new contract and that the current BoD have a diminishing grip on the club.
