Although Holty fits the mould of what we need right now, (goal scoring target man) I'm not sure KC would want such a strong personality in the club with a big local connection.

1) could de stabilise what he has done in terms of bringing in guys who look up to Curle and will apply themselves to the letter of what he wants.
2) if KC had a rocky run of results, we know what the punters would by shouting for in terms of a replacement.

I would take a punt on Holty myself but would say it's 60/40 the other way from the clubs perspective. Also lets say he is on 10k per week, Wigan are going to want to get at least 5k paid of that by the club he is loaned to. We can probably afford it but would it de stabilise the group?
