TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Yeah, impressed with the quality again Dan. Would definitely recommend.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 It will be available to take to away games though providing the other club don't have a problem, given the size.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 Unfortunately not mate, I wasn't expecting it today so don't have the ties for it and haven't cleared it with Bristol Rovers.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Where without being blocked by supporters? An idea worth considering, if the club allow.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Definitely so! Need to arrange with the club so we get it right behind the goal.

Well, I cant blame Curle, thought he got the team and tactics almost spot on, one changed from the previous week,
Thought we started really brightly, hit the bar twice, one cleared off the line and then we scored.
But there seems to be a real fragile underbelly with that lot, as soon as we gifted them that first goal the whole team seemed to wobble. The second goal was almost laughable as we could see where we were standing in the Paddock that it didn't go out of play, but the whole team seemed to just 'switch off'.
To be fair to Curle managing that lot must be bloody frustrating.

Was frustrating but could have had 3 or 4 before they scored and then just fell away.

someone shouted behind me at full time " tear that contract up Curle". Surely no-one can be that stupid

If we were more clinical in front of goal we wouldn't end up scraping for results instead of killing teams off when we are in front.
Was disappointed tho that Curle didn't bring in another forward considering our present situation with our strikers.

Yea I know what you mean but with Ibere and Wyke back in training and winning our two previous games away from home he probably thought there wasn't a great urgency. I also thought Rigg didn't do a great deal when he came on as well, maybe it was lack of service, but I think he really needs to impose himself a lot more, as did Raynes when he went up front.

What was the response to KC's enquirer about getting Grant Holt on loan?
F O I presume.

Playing one up front doesn't seem to work at home. Another striker on loan might have been an idea.

Had one of our chances gone in when we were 1-0 up it would have been a completely different story. Unfortunately, after Gillesphey gifted them their first goal, it seemed to not only destroy his confidence but also put doubt into the rest of the team. From then on it was just downhill to the point until after their 3rd goal where it looked like they had completely given up.

Thought Morecambe played well to be honest, That Shaun Deeley and Kevin Ellison both looked decent players

Ellison is one of the reasons that they have stayed in the league the last few season I reckon.

Surprised that we never looked at him, and Jack Redshaw when he was there.

Once they scored they played very well, they countered beautifully and to be honest for a good 40 minutes we were outclassed. Mind we had been good up until their goal, passing it nicely and actually making some chances. I think it was the worst we've missed Ibehre since he's been out, we struggled for long periods to keep the ball and we won nothing up front really. Asamoah should have scored a couple more goals when through on goal as well, also his yellow for a dive was the correct decision. Grainger was very unlucky with a free kick as well, and Kennedy was very unfortunate all game (played well to be honest). Had one of those chances gone in, we may well have got back in control.

The phrase outclassed by Morecambe is a bit of a sad reflection of where we are.

They knew what to do, and they did it better than us. It is true, we were (for a good part of the game) outclassed.

I thought we went to pieces for 15-20 minutes after their third and whole team was all over the place. We needed someone up alongside Asamoah IMO although I thought Kennedy played well in support.

Morecambe came and did a job and looked well drilled and carried out their gameplan very well.
