"Significant six-figure loss". Considering the previous year's loss was £344,318, I imagine we're looking at more than £500,000.

So....
-We're haemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of pounds
-We're refusing to talk to anyone seriously about investment in the club
-We're still not actively pursuing the sale of Carlisle United to find anyone who'd like to buy it despite haemorrhaging money
-We're pretending that Lord Lucan is about to invest the Billions from his life insurance policy money in Carlisle United, but he's struggling to find Shergar to make the ride to Carlisle and speak to the current incumbents

It's been said many times before but have the board looked at this scenario seriously and thought it's acceptable?
Surely they have to know just how ridiculous this all is, particularly when you look at the bare facts infront of you, this is even more farcical than anything Knighton served up....

I can't actually comprehend how this is still dragging on?

How does a significant loss turn into a profit when Fred's loan was written off? From what I understood even in our relegation season we have always hit our break even figure regarding average crowds? Is this down to the 40 odd loan players and paying off Kav?

The loss does not turn into a profit, that's the simple answer.

In the two years to June 2014 we made combined losses of £965,270, the P & L account at June 2014 was showing retained losses of £2,015,066 so it really doesn't look like we've a proud history of breaking even. As to average crowds, we haven't hit the predicted average crowds for years, I was pointing this out when David Allen was still one of the four horsemen. This is in no way down to Kavanagh and loan players, it is purely down to the custodians and their inability to recognise that their stewardship of the club is an absolute disaster.

Suzanne Kidd is on BBBRC roundabout now to talk about this, not sure if been on yet as not near a radio...

Would i be correct in saying if story had paid the club 1m say for advertising on the condition they paid his loan off with it the club would still be in a loss situation which proves they are talking bollocks .

I get the impression that when the accountanta start talking figures the directors each put a bucket over their heads and start banging on it profusely.

Strange that we protect received transfer fee info like it's the crown jewels, yet choose to announce this. Surely it will do the same and tell any club/player we go for how much we have to spend.
