What standard does it compare to English leagues?

I just watched some of DC United v New York Red Bulls and it was absolutely terrible, we would beat both teams.

Dunno why, I was expecting it to be a bit better.

Ex-Blues Lewis Neal and Mike Grella are deemed decent players in MLS. That should tell you about the level!

Was watching some ISL (Indian Super League) earlier. Dunno if I just got lucky with the bit I saw but there were some skills on show. Certainly better than owt stateside, would have tonked the Blues too.

A Mexican side has won the CL for that part of the world for the last 8 seasons or so, only 1 Yank side has made the Final in that time:

Sometimes found it alright but sometimes terrible, probably get better as the play offs progress. Must say I was surprised NYRB were favs away from home tonight as I have seen them at bigger prices usually away from home, could well be their opposition are very poor.

Made me laugh that - match on now, home team player gets pulled down - camera goes to crowd and there are loads of home fans with big yellow cards waving them. Also a chant along the lines of "let's go effin mental".

Absolutely hate the "I believe that we will win" chant that seems to be used at all US team sports events now, I don't know why, but I actually get angry when I hear it.
