TheCumbrians @CarlisleFanRep We've gone with a simple design this time round, it's the size that will give the impact rather than the design. #plain

TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Well...it's actually 46ft / 14m. Just under twice the width of a goal.

TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Unfortunately reasons out of @CUOSC control. Cheers for feedback though, will pass it on. Think it's good that KC is on-board too.
TheCumbrians @MrHettrick I'll come back to you on that!! Plans have been scuppered, so was considering a few days away in the Bath/Bristol area instead
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC @CUOSC of the current setup with Holdings etc. Other than that, any other opinions of the pack itself. All feedback welcomed.
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC @CUOSC Good spot Dan - definitely just a typo. Most will realise what was meant, and those that don't probably aren't fully aware

I think this will be a first on the message boards I'm complimenting Utd Player. As an ex pat I'm enjoying the United Player extended highlights of the matches (usually 11 minutes +). Also the interviews. I don't have time to watch the full matches that are shown without commentary but I imagine there will be a game where I am interested enough to do so.

Ditto... but I can't understand why Gary Dicker's good bits are always omitted from the extended highlights. He gets a few good reviews so maybe he plays better in the bits they don't show?

What he does will not get shown on the highlights as he they are not what sets up a goal they are what allows us to the rhythm which allows us to play the highlights only show chance and goals, not his pass in our own box which opens up all the space or him tiring out the opposition by making them chase shadows. This vid of him against Liverpool shows what he does for the team

That video should be enough to get him a transfer later in the season but, excluding the hype, does/can he produce it week in and week out when it matters?

I love my player account, love the extended interviews and highlights, yet to try the listen live out as I'm either at work or travelled to wherever we're playing. Was gonna listen this Saturday but might end up going to Plymouth instead

Yes but you have to go matches to see what he does, being a good footballer is not about goals and assists. Yes he does normally produce that why he get such good rating highlight don't tell you stories of games.

He often looks the weak link on the highlights. He seems to give the ball away and doesn't seem to work hard enough to get it back. On the highlights Luke Joyce seems to make him look better by covering for his deficiencies. There again they are only highlights. I really should go to see a game some time.

Dicker has been our best central midfielder by some distance this season in my view. Don't forget, with the split center back system we are playing ,much of his job involves dropping into the massive gap between the central defenders to cover when we don't have the ball and to start the attacks when we do... they aren't likely to show that on the highlights very often. His passing is excellent and his anticipation and positioning are pretty good. His biggest weaknesses are a chronic lack of pace and he sometimes lacks energy against busy opposition. Overall though, well worth his place in the team currently.
