I see he's now down at National League level looking to get regular football. Clearly was unlucky with the injury on his second loan spell with us but most of us thought he was a talented lad with a bright future in the game. Wonder if he's somewhere in Dyke's dossier?

like Abbott did with Chester, it was sheer blind luck that Kav managed to bring him in. I personally suspect that if Conor's injury was for real, he must have done it deliberately to avoid playing for GK. he was after all only a sub for the Sunderland cup tie......which must have annoyed him, again something similar to Liam Cooper.

We can't even give Kav any credit for signing Townsend as Abbott got him in one week before he got sacked.

Townsend did well for us and would be worth considering in future if he hasn't lost his sharpness from all his injuries
