Wasn't deleted by me - presume the original poster removed it?

It hasn't been 'permanently' deleted either, so can be restored if the original poster deleted it in error.

Maybe Nixon emailed his/her boss and said that if it wasn't removed then no work would be passed their way....

Not sure yet whether it's the right/wrong thing to do, but will see. I've removed the option for anybody except me/Mods to delete posts. Therefore if a post is deleted in future, you know it's a Mod that's done it. If you have posted something and wish to remove it, just edit the delete the content.

I would guess that you wouldn't remove a thread unless you have been threatened/advised to do so because of the content.

Amazingly it was a controversial thread with names being bandied about getting pulled and not one about if hash browns should be included on a full English.
