Altrincham would be nice or Eastleigh for me.

A feisty Morecambe derby would be a good one.

But as said on another thread, it is nailed on for Peterborough away.

Wouldn't mind Salford at home.
Probably wouldn't be on live but would get a fair bit of exposure on BBC.

an easy team Welling, stourbridge etc at home which we should win (never know its the fa cup) and get man u away in the third round and get curle some money to spend.

I'd like us to play one of the non-league teams playing tomorrow, away such as Brackley, Braintree, Chesham, Didcot, Gainsborough Trinity or Maidstone.

But well done to KC and the lads today. I didn't think for one minute we would be in the draw.

Crappest team left in the draw at BP for me.

Fc United or Salford at home on the proviso we hammer them .

i would back us against anyone at home but wouldnt be very confident at all if we got a lower team away, get the feel we like to be the underdogs and struggle when the pressure is on us to play the footall.

Also some of those non league pitches would f*ck our passing game!

Years?? Itv had coverage for years..was expecting a proper sat night job not a shoved to red button job....bit shoddy really in my view to treat the cup like that

27 grand if you get through round two so an easy home tie for sure followed by Man U at home and replay at old Trafford would do me

I think the team we'd want if still in the 3rd round is Chelsea? We would be forever known as the final nail in both Rogers and Mourinho's coffins!

Any part timers home or away.

I don't think this team would put in such a lazy inept performance as Notts county did the other night.


But realistically we'll get a league 1 team. There would be some horrors like Walsall away, Burton away, Peterborough away, but Scunthorpe home or away is my prediction.

Was at Upton Park yesterday, what a shithole.

Interesting that a lot of people prefer an away tie. Is that because they think we now have a good chance of winning away from home, or because of the three incompetents.

We've now had four away cup ties on the trot, (Port Vale, QPR, Liverpool and Plymouth) so we are due a home tie.

Almost definitely be on TV, and from Salford's showing the other night we should get a win on our pitch. Notts County were dire but I also wouldn't fancy us going there, can only take a couple hundred as well. Both of them team could bring 5,000 to BP. After that stinker of a draw I feel we're due some luck.

As wukkie says above all i want is the lowested ranked team possible at home. Then get to the third round and draw a big side, promote the club and the City. A third round pay day can only be a good thing.
