Go to somewhere like Bury and there are four or five people working in media on a match day, so obviously they can produce a lot more stuff over all platforms. When you have to cover twitter, write a match report, interview manager and players and be available to answer queries from press and the other club I wouldn't think there would be a lot of time left. I can't see how it could be done without having some one designated to do just that video and nothing else.
In the Plymouth case, either they have hit lucky and found someone willing to volunteer their time and skill to the club, or they are willing to pay what I think would be a substantial fee for the work done.
And agree I don't think I would want it as the official video, but great as a story of the game for fans of both home and away as an extra.
Surely an opportunity available with the Links the club is building with the Uni who do various media and events courses. I know we have done this in the past for the cost of a meal and a couple of pints which has led to us having fully edited DVDs and the students having some valuable experience and footage for coursework.
