TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 It will be available to take to away games though providing the other club don't have a problem, given the size.

TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 Unfortunately not mate, I wasn't expecting it today so don't have the ties for it and haven't cleared it with Bristol Rovers.

TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Where without being blocked by supporters? An idea worth considering, if the club allow.

TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Definitely so! Need to arrange with the club so we get it right behind the goal.

It's reaching the point now where a lot of the foreign imports are no better than home grown players.
Players are being signed for £10m/£20m/£30m and not even getting a game.
However, it is good to see some unlikely English players doing well and players dropping down a league or two to work their way back up.
I thought that the 'golden generation' of English players thought they were better than they were because they were surrounded by foreign stars who made them look good.
Now it is harder to get a chance, those that do succeed are having to do it the hard way.

Its not just on about foreigners though its players trained at the clubs own youth system. Dont think our percentage is very high to be fair.

I read a book a couple of years ago about tooth team football and how many make it as a pro etc, cant remember the exact title, something like Every Boy's Dream. A really good read and covers a lot of ground regarding tooth team footy, players being dumped unceremoniously by clubs, the level of vocational and educational input some clubs have in there youth players. Definitely worth a read of this subject interests you.
