TheCumbrians @CUFCalways @Claire_Like_Eh Yeah, the tweet said "McQueen replaces McQueen" my poor attempt at humour whilst losing.
TheCumbrians @CraigHc10 @Marzy_1 @officialcufc Ha, sorry mate. I lacked enthusiasm last time I commented about Jabo, making up for it now.

TheCumbrians @2705TF @1MarkFuller Just assumed it wouldn't be possible due to licensing. Maybe as a silhouette it'll be ok?
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Yeah, impressed with the quality again Dan. Would definitely recommend.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 It will be available to take to away games though providing the other club don't have a problem, given the size.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 Unfortunately not mate, I wasn't expecting it today so don't have the ties for it and haven't cleared it with Bristol Rovers.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Where without being blocked by supporters? An idea worth considering, if the club allow.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Definitely so! Need to arrange with the club so we get it right behind the goal.

Then I came across this gem....

Those lovely American banjo playing types.

My dad has always cooked New York strip steaks for us. He marinates them for a day in a mixture of Worcestershire, soy, teriyaki, and garlic powder. He salts them then immediately throws them on the grill, and cooks them perfectly every time - medium rare. I know some people talk about the "beauty" and "pure flavor" of unseasoned meat but you will not ever taste a better steak. Never.

My wife had never eaten anything less than well done meat until she tasted my dad's steak. (That sounds a little weird.) Now, well, I'm afraid if he were single and she hadn't already married me, I'd have some real competition...

On a serious note, some of the cheaper cuts are often more flavoursome than the expensive ones, they just need to be cooked slower and longer. I like brisket for a roast but my favourite is braised featherblade.

Pot roast Brisket every time for moisture and flavour. Aged Rib Eye for the griddle, I try different marinades but oil, soy sauce, garlic granules and a dollop of English mustard is good, but just plain old garlic and a bit of salt works fine.

Pompeii Steakhouse is pretty good. A few £ needs to be spent, but definitely worth it if you're a man or women that loves steak.

Would avoid Gosling Bridge like the plague - never had a good one in there despite them claiming to be a flaming grill. Just never cook it right and you always end up waiting for about an hour.

Whatever steak you cook will be improved three-fold by letting it rest for 5 to 10 minutes after you take it off the heat. Just leave it in the pan and shove a bit of foil over it. Also, the chefs are right. oil the steak, not the pan.

I dont mind flaming grills tbh. One thing i have noticed though is they cook steaks longer than they should do. I just ask for medium rare and its usually just the other side of medium. My fav eat in atm though has got to be Morrisons Rump. Very flavoursome.

I do all the above, plus add a knob of butter to the pan once the steak is out to melt in to the yummy juices

More the fact that the dad will have boned his daughter in law within a week lol.

That Pompeii place is only any good if you fancy paying through the nose for the experience.

Lets face it, they boast that they only sell the best products from Pioneer (lol) then you have to cook it yourself on a hot stone to get it to your liking and the prices are really high for a self catering meal.

Go to somewhere where they cook it for you or wipe fifty quid off your meal at Pompeii by buying a bottle of wine and gan to Cranstons for a couple of steaks which are of better quality in my opinion and do it yourself at home.
