From Wasdale mountain rescue and the old bill advising us to leave our home cause there's "one hell of a biblical deluge" on its way tonight. Were 15yrds from the river.

Hope you all keep safe pal, I seen on the news that there was flooding over your bit.

Make sure you destroy all of your porn though as you might be in trouble if it decides to leave its secret hiding place and starts floating round the house on your return.

Delivered parcels round that area for years,beautiful part of the County although the climbing shop at wasdale head was a bit of a pain to get to and they seemed to get 1 parcel every day which could put 30/40 minutes on your day,Jill Unsworth's in Gosforth is still the best Bakers i have ever been to,hope with the water starts to subside,good luck.

Think they're being a bit OTT after the cockermouth floods. If all my worldly possessions are going to be destroyed then I want to watch. As for porn, It's in the loft so unless Gods sent the flood it'll survive.

I am sure you will be fine if you set up a contingency plan.

When you are standing there like 'King Canute' in the loft guarding the Fiesta collection, ignore the water gushing in and unearthing your 'Catch Rags' the muddy water will cover your tracks and do you a favour on that one.

The videos on the higher shelf and the dvd's may survive better on the lower shelf.
