TheCumbrians @CUFCalways @Claire_Like_Eh Yeah, the tweet said "McQueen replaces McQueen" my poor attempt at humour whilst losing.
TheCumbrians @CraigHc10 @Marzy_1 @officialcufc Ha, sorry mate. I lacked enthusiasm last time I commented about Jabo, making up for it now.
TheCumbrians JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! @Marzy_1 https://t.co/yTq1RN4S1B
TheCumbrians @2705TF @1MarkFuller Just assumed it wouldn't be possible due to licensing. Maybe as a silhouette it'll be ok?
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Yeah, impressed with the quality again Dan. Would definitely recommend.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 It will be available to take to away games though providing the other club don't have a problem, given the size.
TheCumbrians @Jaffa113 Unfortunately not mate, I wasn't expecting it today so don't have the ties for it and haven't cleared it with Bristol Rovers.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Where without being blocked by supporters? An idea worth considering, if the club allow.
TheCumbrians @cusclbontour Definitely so! Need to arrange with the club so we get it right behind the goal.
TheCumbrians I can't get the whole flag in the photo for obvious reasons! Here's the end. What do you think? #45ftlong https://t.co/yTqyfY9cDz
TheCumbrians CUOSC could be raising free donations every time you & supporters shop online with @easyuk! Join now https://t.co/vGoWZ2x47y
TheCumbrians RT @Marzy_1: @TheCumbrians Deserves more enthusiasm than that! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO! JABO…

As the Be Just and Fear Not flag is ready for its first airing and I believe there is still some money from donations left in the bank, time to decide on a 3rd flag. I understand a Jimmy Glass flag was a popular choice so here's an idea below. Not put too much effort into as it's best to give an idea to get feedback on what people like/don't like/want added/want changed. Feedback and other efforts appreciated.

With Derek Lacey's commentary...

Without commentary...

If anyone wants to have a go at something, this is pretty much the only reasonable quality image online: tinyurl.com/qh9kopw

Love the top one but possible issue would be actually reading the quote from any distance away.

I would finish the quote at "Jimmy Glass has Scored" - otherwise brilliant.

That would definitely be an issue. Plan is the same size as the Jabo flag (10x5) so image below gives some perspective to how large the text would be. Pretty confident the "JIMMY GLASS" would be visible from a distance but the commentary would have to be seen from close.

The top would be superb, but there's far too much happening. The bottom is pretty bland I think.

The problem is getting so much into it, without swamping the flag but with it all needing to be effective.

How about the famous quote from shankly?

Shankly quote
Balderstone
Ross
Something to do with the 95 squad, 20 years since we ran away with the league that year, first trip to Wembley etc?

Anything to do with Lacey is just a massive shan to be honest.

I emailed all those who contributed, and the majority were in favour of a Jimmy Glass flag. Once that's been done, if others want to contribute towards a Shankly/other one, I'll happily arrange.

I'd use this part/line "Jimmy Glass, the Goalkeeper, has scored a goal for Carlisle United"...

Explains it in one...

Would anyone object to closing the entire east/pioneer stand to accommodate one?
