Was in Botchergate this evening & noticed the County looked closed up & there were barriers and a footpath diversion outside the front entrance.
May have missed something as I have been away for a few days.

The canopy above the door has come away from the wall and looks about to fall at any time. Will probably look better when it comes down as not the most appealing entrance to a hotel.

State of it today it will be coming down one way or the other. Hopefully it won't get replaced. Haven't been inside for a long time but last time was tatty. Really should be a good standard of hotel owed by a fairly decent sized hotel group who have good locations elsewhere.
