Good stuff, Steady defender. think it will take him a bit longer to get used to playing football from the back. people forget it took Raynes a while and he was getting the same criticism that Ellis was getting after Saturday early this season.

I don't think he was too bad on Saturday, certainly he defended well. He ought to have scored though, and he struggles to play a 50 yard pass direct to Gilliead's feet. I don't think he missed a header though and he gets blocks in. He and Raynes are starting to form an understanding where they are covering for each other too.

Actually if either he or Raynes had put one of those chances away, I think we'd have been 5 up by half time because they'd have fallen apart.

He's got a mistake in him that's for sure but he's improving all the time in my view. Don't forget that he's been promoted twice from this division with Crewe&Shrewsbury; so he has the kind of know how and experience that we need.

I'm not expecting any Julio Cesar performances from L2 Defender.
