Please watch tonight Panorama and you will see why it is almost impossible for a club like ours to survive without someone like Andrew Jenkins. How many people would put in £2m of there own money into the Blues.We do need the billionaire because there is no business profit in small clubs. Panorama will allege that the corruption in FIFA is immense. If this is true how do we know it is not the same in UEFA or indeed the football league or the FA. They all seem to live quite well.!!
Andrew Jenkins is a man of honour and Carlisle United supporters should be proud of the efforts he has made to keep the team where we are.

Sorry, I don't think I will see the connection between international corruption and bribery and why a local football club cannot be run properly.

Which is a loan or debt! Agree he has done this for CUFC but hanging on isn't helping how much debt will he leave the club in, if he passes away on day? At least Fred had spent the money and wiped it off!

Well they can't do a worse job than the consortium of local businessmen we currently have running the show can they ?

When has AJ given any money to the club ? Every penny he has put in has been in the form of loans from himself or Pioneer. That's very different from him donating it.

The reason we have lost £2m is because of contract extensions to Ward, Greg and Kav which they then had to pay off. The 40 odd loan players Kav used in a season wouldn't have helped either. In short - the £2m debt was down to bad decisions they made.

Would like to read a book about Bernard Tapies involvement in Football mind and there is a book only out in German about the Bayern Munich fella who got jailed for tax evasion which could be pretty interesting.
