Simpson won't win it because he's scored 6 goals, he'll win it because he plays for Orient. I seem to remember someone scoring 10 in a month and not winning the award.

Surprised a bit more hasn't been made of this but Danny's performances this year have been brilliant at times and he's been a real leader. Hopefully everyone gets behind him I know it's difficult to when the southern teams have players nominated but good luck Danny. Nice to see our players being nominated at least.

Taking nothing away from Danny, Think he has been excellent this season buuuuuuuuut has he been put in because of his goal against pompey and the fact we have been on a decent run.

Not only has he been having a good and much improved season, which has changed a few views on here about him including myself, but he has been a fantastic front for the club during this difficult time for both the club and the region.

He has been Superb both on and off the pitch recently so it would be a well deserved award if the panel can get past their southern bias!

looks like they keep moving the goal posts to arrive at their decision - so JS scored 4 out of 6 goals Orient scored in November (is what the Sky site says)- what happened to Big Jabos record NOT getting him the prize when nominated if goes on goals scored

Exactly what I was about to say. 4 goals in a month isn't even that impressive.

Jabo must have had more than that when he was nominated, yet instead the panel preferred Orient's little Cox.
