Mrs served him today albeit his identity was pointed out by a football following colleague. She had a crack with him and he mentioned he was catching a train. I know the last thing folks hate seeing is a "rumour" just wondered if anyone had heard out?

My source told me he got on a train somewhere, like many people do. But he told me not to tell anyone.

Well I have heard different. Apparently he is on the verge of going to boreham wood and the deal will be done once we get into January. The move benefits all parties concerned.

Are you sure it's not Boreham silly?

Or, as he is from down south and unlikely to be playing this weekend he could've just been given some time off and allowed to go down there and do his own training ?

Much like Ibehre said he was down south when the floods hit.

But obviously thinking logically is a sure way to kill rumours.

Even with his injuries he is to good to be going to a bottom of the conference team on loan.

Course there are plenty of logical reasons, just wondered as he's out of favour if a move may have materialised is all.

I hadn't realised that Troy is only 27. I was thinking he was about 5 years older. He really needs to kickstart his career so dropping a league and moving back to North London would make a lot of sense. I'd give superblueabbott a credibility rating of 8/10 on this one.

I'm sure they dont have a transfer window in that league so why would they need to wait till January? I may be wrong mind and I wouldn't question your sources.

It's only leagues below Conference National now that don't have a transfer window now, I think they changed it recently.

I wouldn't too bothered or surprised if this was true. He hasn't featured much, is injury prone and probably on big wages. If KC is wanting to bring in fresh faces in January for a promotion push this may well make sense.

Any suggestions as to how Borehamwood are gonna cover his massive wages.

Who in their right mind would give up a guaranteed 6 month contract on decent wages for pay as you play ?

As Troy's car was destroyed in the floods he has to get the train.

Surely things haven't got that bad for him that he has to even consider those cheating thugs from Boreham Wood with their tin pot ground, look at the injury Gillesie suffered playing on their cow field of a pitch.

More like he is Leyton Orient bound, they need a decent defender or two...

It`s a big shame for the lad who plays well when he gets a chance, trouble is his knees won`t allow him to play every week.(as we all know) You`d think there would be an operation to fix them. Now Curle`s got the bit between his teeth for promotion, the players he`s brought in get picked every time.

Good luck to Troy hope if he is off he gets fixed up somewhere decent.

I was under the impression they had a bit of money from somewhere. Dagenham's best defender last season, Scott Doe was linked with moves to Luton and a few league one clubs.... then in the summer he signed for Borehamwood for some reason.

Even at 1 game a week he is way too good for non league level. Only reason why I think he would drop out of league football is to trigger the retirement due to injury clause. If players retire due to injury they effectively get their contract paid up plus a league top up paid by the insurance company. Perhaps Lummy8 can clarify.

Make Marsh who played for Liverpool apparently walked away with £1m as his knees couldn't take full time training and playing. He then started playing for Southport part time but if they got back in the league and became a professional club and he played, he would have to give the money back.

Given some part time clubs pay full time wages then away off plus picking up decent money from the club around the corner could be a great move for Troy.
