Anyone get there Sky through Virgin Media - if so any good?
It is about 50% of the cost of sky at present but nervous of the quality

Yes I have, and its perfect.
No difference to when I had it through Sky. I've also got BT sport through it, and that is also fine.

I've got everything through Virgin and would say it's well worth it.

If you have the choice (and it sounds like you do) then their broadband beats everything else hands down - I had 150mb, free upgrade to 200mb and i'm consistently getting download speeds of 211mb with a 7ms ping response at 3pm/3am and every other time of the day.

The Tivo box also beats the Sky+ hands down, get the 1Tb if you've got the option, it records what it "thinks" you want to watch as well as what you ask it to and that's came in handy for me.

Virgin also don't charge for BTSport on their top package.

Honestly, I wouldn't want any other provider.

I would certainly recommend it mate.
And its cheaper than what I was paying for Sky, and that was without the BT Sport.

I found the Tivo box a bit clunky compared to Sky+ but ability to record 2 channels while watching a third is a big plus.
Never pay full price for Sky - just cancel and wait for them to offer at least 50% off to stay

Another vote for virginmedia. We got the broadband ("just" 150mb), telephone and Tivo cowie. With the telephone, we changed our number with the side benefit we don't get "Windows Microsoft", PPI or various calls from Asia at all hours.

However, I put their Sales team number on block on my mobile - got sick of telling them I didn't want a virgin mobile as I'm already on a two year contract elsewhere. "Please get back to me in 2017" - did not compute!

Was talking about this today at work. You'd be better off getting Now TV (£5 a month I think) on top of Virgin Media if you want Sky Atlantic. It still works out a heck of a lot cheaper than Sky itself.
