I emailed cufc to say that I have banked 3 games already ( the max allowed ) as a season ticket holder because of games i couldnt make .And because of the flood probs , can we now bank more games ? For friends and family when we finally get sorted.
Simple question?
Answer ...we will be discussing it later on in the week and will let you know as soon as we can .
Why ????
Surely its an easy one ?
The answer should be yes , no problem .( not all season ticket holders can make away games )

Season tickets, before the floods, weren't worth it as you only saved a few quid if you managed to make all the games.

Hardly any benefits apart from not queuing for tickets and we got Liverpool tickets ok by being trust members.

Certainly not viable now and the club will have to do something to entice new sales next season as its simply not worth it. And the discount on Virgin trains is a joke!

You'd have more people complaining if we got rid of them than if we keep them.

My old man has a season ticket and prefers it to buying a ticket every game.

He makes every home game so saves money, and has used the virgin discount quite a few times and saved a fair amount of money.

What other benefits are you expecting ?

I found cheaper tickets, the three times I tried for my family member who has now cancelled his ticket, on train line.

On about Virgin I'm normally full of praise for them as they are by far the best privatised rail company however advertising Carlisle to Preston return at £26 was a disgrace its always £23 for me standard. They should of charged a special price of between £10-£15 especially as the club were putting free coaches on.

The club won't make the savings much higher because then it gets rid of the value, so holders won't have to go to every game to get the value from it.

Your right, you can do that, but the you won't get the train offer, which as others have said can add up to a decent saving, effectively reducing the cost of your season ticket.

And not everybody wants to join the trust .

I thought that about that 23 quid price like. They'll have you to pieces like if you aren't up on them.

Last season I managed to make back probably £140 plus from the VT discount - both from going to home games and travelling elsewhere. Well worth the value - haven't saved as much this year as I've had to drive to a number of games instead but that's my own fault rather than the offer.

Got to remember the offer only applies to routes where you are only on a VT service - if you have to change to another operator, the discount doesn't apply.

Edit - I know of one fan who reckons he's almost made back the entire value of his ticket from the VT discount last season, lives in Cheshire.
