Seems to me everyone as forgot about the billionaire .Overheard a few conversations yesterday at Preston along those lines i know whats happened to the city and county with the floods are heart breaking and are more important at this time than football. But the three so called custodians should never be allowed to get away with what they have done with this alledged billionaire. Also what happened about Jenkins selling his shares or someone wanting to buy them has that fallen through maybee he didnt have a pot to piss in and thats the reason.

"A little bird told me that Jenkins is trying to find someone to take over his shareholding so he can go to that nice little retirement home he's been promising himself.....
No idea if it's true or just gossip. "

I posted that in the '20 Questions' thread back in October. It transpired that it wasn't just gossip, although some gave it no credence at the time. Seems that Jenkins has not been able to make any progress, so he'll just have to carry on, the brave little soldier.

As for the imaginary, completely fabricated billionaire, I for one, will neither forget nor forgive that this was the excuse used to reject the local investment they say they desperately want. The best and only offer of such local investment that they have had since they reluctantly became custodians.

Jenkins was made a pretty good offer for his shares which in effect gave him about two thirds of what he and Pioneer are owed in exchange for his shares and writing off the debt.He apparently had the guy checked out and found he was worth a damm site more than the Jenkins dybasty a few times over.

Yes there were conditions attached like it being a private sale and a couple of things he had to do regarding the other shareholders.

But it appears that Jenkins is now refusing to take it any further until some conditions of his are met which really arent anything to do with him regarding how the club will be financed going forward he seems to think that any future owner should be just pouring their money into a big hole like hes done when in effect they have a sustainable plan to fund the club going forward that includes both local business people as well as ongoing supporter involvement.

Because that may highlight what a [censored] shambles he's made of running the club. So the answer is yes.

Its not really even about making a profit just their plan of how to recover their original investment over 5 years. Yes a lot of it involves fans buying into what theyre planning to do but if it doesnt work its their money at risk no one elses.

No if's, no but's - We have been lied to,
both parties knew this at the time.

They haven't got the decency to admit this which is why they are so despised

All they see us as is a revenue stream and an inconvenience.

All they are hoping now is that it fades into the background and a decent spell he pitch and all will be forgotten.

Never let them off the hook for this.

I bet they'll cite the floods as an excuse for not being able to "get round the negotiating table" with the billionaire, or indeed any other investors.

They should tell the imaginary billionaire they won't be messed about any longer and beg Andrew Lapping on bended knee to dig them out of the hole they have dug.

There is no way we will forget, there is no way we will let them forget. At the moment there is enough going on for the people of Carlisle, so not too much has been said. However, we all still know we have a bunch of arrogant liars running the club. Three horrible individuals who are quite prepared to use their positions in the community to bad mouth well intentioned people who are actually trying to help.

I will be absolutely delighted if, in the New Year, Mr Lapping is finally able to make his thoughts on the whole thing known in public. I really hope the three of them are hounded out and humiliated for us all to see.
