Aye, and he's good mates with a billionaire.

Wouldn't it be interesting to hear what Steve Pattison has to say. If only he came on the Carlisle boards.

Oh, wait....

The bloke definitely seems to have the cash. What I can't understand is, why he, personally, was only prepared to put £100.000 into the takeover pot. A bit bizarre considering how much he supposedly 'loves' the club. We're all giving Jenkins a hard time but it puts it all into a bit of perspective don't you think.

Maybe that's all he thought he needed to plant the seed to make the club grow. It is not always about how much money you chuck at it,.

Totally disagree, the reason AJ has put in the amount of money is to cover up the bad running in the club with JN at the helm. Remember also he has only loaned the money and increased the debt! Also the Lapping plan was to stop one person being held responsible for the cash flow of the club.

Does Lapping do hostile takeovers?

Speaking with SP all I got was, we need someone with lots and lots of money.
Speaking with AJ all I got was, we need someone with lots and lots of money.
Speaking with JN all I got was, we need someone with lots and lots of money.

Yes lots of money will help but you also need something else. You need the right plans, the right structure, the right equipment and most importantly make the company make its own money without people having to put in vast amounts to keep it going.

I feel with the current owners league 1 is our premiership I don't think we can get any further.

A load of Minion's t-shirts in the club shop, would be a good money-spinner... :cheer:
