A coach from Carlisle United Sports Community Trust, said he doesn't think we'll be back for our target York City 23RD January, he says if they pick up paste it will be February but how they're going March, here is my plan if it happens: York City Saturday 23RD January @ Globe Arena, Accrington Stanley Saturday 6TH February @ Darlington Arena, Stevenage Saturday 20TH February @ Globe Arena, Hartlepool United Tuesday 23RD February @ Globe Arena. These 2 are highly unlikely but best to be safe than sorry, Leyton Orient Tuesday 1ST March @ Globe Arena and Northampton Town Saturday 5TH March @ Globe Arena

That's that sorted then. Have you forwarded your plans to the club? Would save them a lot of work at this difficult time.

To be honest I'm not sure the community coach would appreciate what he says being broadcast on here by you.

Secondly, how do Morecambe feel about us taking over their ground for 4 fixtures?

If the worst comes to the worst I feel it would be better for us to become nomadic. Preston, Blackburn, Blackpool, Morecambe, Bolton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough could share the burden rather than putting it all on Morecambe, never mind how their pitch would hold up.

Judging by the nature of the post and the time it was posted I'm guessing you were pished last night?

Why not just saying we should play at Morecambe until BP's ready apart from the Accrington game which could be at Darlo?

Some people are quite quick to jump on folks back - you never know who's behind a username. Maybe think before being critical/offensive

A few people will know who's behind the username - many won't, and I'll tell you one thing he puts many CUFC supporters (myself included!) to shame for his dedication, and the amount of travelling he does to watch the Blues.

Franksidebottom, the reason why the Darlington Arena would be good for the Accrington Stanley game and someone said to me yesterday that playing it in Lancashire would be a disadvantage because I said about playing the York City game not at Bootham Crescent but in Yorkshire Sir.

I understand what you mean Yorkshire, don't let people put you off posting, I've had my fair share of stick.

They play Rugby at the Darlington arena so depends on their schedule. I also believe the FA will fund us some portakabins for temporary changing rooms so we can get back to Brunton park as soon as possible. Opening just the east stand and wre I heard is a possibility.

Who's being critical or offensive on this thread? I could have gone to every match for the last 50 years but if I say summat daft I'd expect people to have a joke at my expense

Realistically, using the Globe for most games is unlikely. I think we'll see a split temporary home of Preston and Blackpool if it's longer than expected.

We could just postpone them and bring everyone up on a cold Tuesday night.

Surely a game at Wigan wouldn't be bad? Only one more stop away on the train than Preston.

They play rugby and football there so may be troublesome arranging games around both, whereas the other grounds only have football on.

Granted rugby doesn't start again till mid-Jan.
