Some interesting stuff been talked here like, I presume I've got the wrong end of the stick, but here goes....

Everton played on Wed 6th Jan (home to Man City in a quite important cup semi final)
They also play the following Wednesday, this week, in an interesting (and very difficult) league game, Wed Jan 13th....City again!
So they played on the Sunday inbetween then?
Nope. Nice easy game against a league 2 team played on the Sat, no bother.
So if we get through, it could be Sat or Sun. Not Fri or Mon though.
