I travelled up from the south this weekend.... on reflection for me.... yes we disappointed, but hey what an occasion, and a fabulous day. CUFC banked a shed load of money and we soaked in a game at Brunton being full and a bunch of millionaire footballers on show with England Internationals. Awesome I say.... we were nailed on to get beat, but who cares... we have had two marvellous cup runs in one season, the best for many many years! And we are in with a shout of the play-offs... Onwards to promotion. Get behind the Blues...

Very disappointing, far too much respect given, i can't recall even a decent tackle to raise the crowd.

Lots of overreactions on here after yesterday, I think partly not helped by the performance at Anfield earlier this year which has maybe led us to think we should be going toe to toe with every Premier League side and getting something. We've been spoilt this year in terms of cup runs and it may be another 20 or so years before we see similar at Brunton Park again.

Everton did exactly what they asked, pop the balloon early and kill the romance of it all. The quality in their side was phenomenal and Ross Barkley especially is almost untouchable in midfield. My only disappointments would be of Asamoah's panic when we did get a chance or two and also referee Lee Mason for being frightened almost of the Premier League players, he gave some really soft decisions, but easy ones to give in the context of the match.

As for the racist "chants" , the likelihood is that it wasn't an actual Carlisle supporter and there's a 70% chance he won't be there again this year anyway. Just a shame that it steals the headlines.

It wasn't what we were hoping, but it certainly beats getting knocked out of both cups in the 1st round like we might do for the next 4 years.

We got a lesson yesterday and hopefully we can take it into the play-off push starting with a huge game next week, that lad Comley would be great to have until May.
