Not irrelevant at all, they drew the previous game so it's debatable whether they'd be much higher but obvious they wouldnt be top of the form table as seabird was eluding to

Accrington? Won 7, drew 2, lost 2 of 11 league games going back to October 20th, until they came to Brunton. One of those defeats was by a single goal away to the best team in the division. Maybe not THE form team, but above us and going well. We restricted them to 2 efforts on target in 98 minutes, and the game was won well before half time, with 2 excellent finishes (and nearly 3 with the ball coming back off the post), despite the absence of our captain and key player from set plays, having a centre half stretchered off by 3.15, a bloke making his league debut, 3 others out injured, and if you listen to some on here, we've just got shot of Sergio [censored] Busquets.

It was only the second time since April that Accrington have lost by more than 1 goal - more than 30 games.
If Accrington were "awful", perhaps that had something to do with the performance of our players, and the decent job our manager is doing.

Some people are never happy though.

I've never known a team's current form include a game from 3 and a half months ago!!!

Form guides usually include a teams last half a dozen or so games, so that's 3 wins in 6, hardly the form team in the division which is the point I'm trying to make.

Form from 1st Jan upto before Saturday's game suggests Stanley were indeed a form team, especially compared to us!

Not sure why Joyce is getting stick, he's been one of my favourite signings this season and I always thought he should never have left the club. Does all the dirty work and gets very little credit for it. Always thought he's a very good player and the sort every team needs.

Looking at the table now if we win 2 games in hand that takes us up to 48 points and the top of the play off pack with 1-2 games still in hand on those around us. For me we h ave to at least get in the play offs. I get the feeling this wont be our year, not sure why. Some play off experience could be vital for this team and you never know... I fancy us on our day to beat anyone. My gut says next year automatic is more realistic if we keep KC

I just hope the clowns in charge don't mess KC about and we lose him - Mind you KC has achieved very little with management yet so he needs promotion we us as much as we do with him.
