Why didn't we go up last season? We had the best centre back in the league Troy, we had the best midfielder outside of the premier league in Gary Dicker, and we had a top striker in Paynter. It's one of the biggest football mysteries ever.

I can't believe the club allowed that clown Curle dismantle the spine of last seasons dream team. We'd be champions this season if Curle hadn't replaced them with this current garbage.

Joking aside, Troy has been a bad signing but shows how desperate Kavanagh was in that he signed a player he knew full well would probably miss as many games as he'd play, very poor value for money and therefore a constantly unsettled defence. Fat boy Billy? Again, turned out to be a gamble that failed pretty miserably. Dicker for me was the only one who showed what he can do and has done so this season too.

If i had a choice of Dicker or Thirlwell in their prime it would be Thirlwell everytime for me.

I really miss seeing Dicker getting outpaced and giving the ball away so frequently!

Joyce, Kennedy, Hery and Brandon are all better than him.

We've averaged 1.4 points this season when Dicker started, 1.6 without him.

KC was right to get rid of him

The biggest problem with Dicker was that he was virtually a passenger when we didn't have the ball. I wouldn't say he was better or worse than anyone else in the team when it came to giving the ball away; I agree with the overall point though.
